About
Hi. I'm Tony Morrison and the owner of Walking Woofers.
A little about me. I grew up in and around Manly and currently live in Brookvale. Working with animals, and particularly dogs, is a career I have long dreamed of pursuing. I meet many woofers on my travels and these meetings are often some of the brightest points of my day. My wife jokingly calls me the 'dog whisperer' for the many times I have turned a barking dog meeting me at a door into a sooky, tail-wagging pal.
My previous work as a specialist courier for florists has given me an impeccable knowledge of the geography of the Northern Beaches. I know the best areas to walk dogs and am a skilled negotiator of traffic, so your pooch won't be in my vehicle for any longer than necessary. I have also developed sharp logistical skills so am reliable and can be flexible.
Having someone look after your pet is a big deal. They are a well-loved member of your family so you need to trust the person to keep them safe, be responsible and shower them with affection when you're not around. You also need to trust that person to have access to your home and leave it secure. I have built strong bonds with my clients and the animals I look after and enjoy sharing the responsibility for their care, wellbeing and health.
I provide an initial consultation to all prospective clients where we discuss the services available, your particular needs and work out a package that suits you. I am police-checked and never walk more than four dogs at a time, as per the Companion Animals Act 1998. I will take care of your pets with the upmost care, as if they were my own.
Thank you for visiting the Walking Woofers website and, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
